Why am I getting an error when attempting to upload to AIReady?

AIReady may generate an error if it is unable to successfully launch itself. Some variations include:

"Translation failed!"

"Exception EOleSysError in module ENVUPD.exe at 0051775.
Error accessing the OLE registry."

"Runtime error 429:
ActiveX component can't create object."

"Envelope Uploader has stopped working and needs to close."

This is typically caused by interference from other appraisal software packages. Other programs such as Lighthouse, HotSpot, XSites, and Mercury Desktop include their own AIReady uploader, which can conflict with the uploader included with Appraise-It.

If the following steps do not resolve your issue, or you require assistance performing them, please contact Technical Support.

Windows Vista, 7, 8, and 10
1. Download and run this .exe file. If prompted, click Yes; when the process finishes, click OK.

  • This may be enough to resolve your issue. If it does not, proceed to step 2.

2. Close any Appraise-It and AIReady dialogs and windows.
2. Go to C:\TRA\ADDONS\SfrepAIReady.
3. Locate the Sfrep.AIReady.exe file, then right-click on it and go to Properties.
4. Go to the Compatibility tab, then check the Run this program as an administrator option in the Privilege Level section at the bottom of the dialog, then click OK.

Reopen Appraise-It and proceed as you would normally to upload this report. Note that you will need to re-enter your AppraisalPort credentials in the Connections section of the Envelope Uploader, and your report will need to be open in Appraise-It when you attempt to upload.

Windows XP
Perform a clean reinstall of Appraise-It.

Reopen Appraise-It and proceed as you would normally to upload this report. Note that you will need to re-enter your AppraisalPort credentials in the Connections section of the Envelope Uploader. Also note that it may be necessary to repeat this if other appraisal software on your computer updates.
