How do I use the Appraise-It Account Management Portal?

First Time Setup

If you have signed up for our mobile app Inspect-a-Lot, you will be required to set up a new Appraise-It Account. This is a new web services account and is different from your current SFREP customer ID and password. Eventually this new user ID, which is your email address, and password will be used more widely, but for now it is only used for Inspect-a-Lot.



After you have spoken to our Sales Department at 800-523-0872 and have purchased the your new product, you will be sent an email with a link to complete the setup of your Appraise-It Account and set an account password. Just click on the link in the email.



The link will launch the Appraise-It Account Portal in your default web browser. Enter your email address and the temporary password that was sent to you in the email.



Next, fill out the challenge phase, the response, the current temporary password, your new password and then verify it by entering it a second time. The challenge question and answer will be used if you ever forget your password and need to reset it so make sure it is something you can remember. Once done, you will use your username (your email address) and the password you set up to log into the app you purchased.

If you ever need to manage your account or change your password, just return to https://account.sfrep.com and log in.

Password Recovery



If you ever forget your password, go to https://account.sfrep.com in your web browser and click on forgot password. Enter the email address you used to set up your Appraise-It account originally (this is also your username).



When you click on the Submit Request button, you will be asked your challenge question.



If you answer it correctly, an email with a password reset link will be sent to you. Use the link in the email to log into the account portal.



You will be prompted to enter a new custom password. Enter a new password that is at least eight characters in length, contains one number, one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter, and one special character. Next, re-enter the same password to verify and check the box next to I am not a robot.

Changing Your Email Address



Once logged in, click on the Manage menu selection up top and select Change Username / Email.



Enter the new email address you wish to use as your username, then click the Save button.

Changing Your Password



After logging into the portal, click on the Manage menu selection up top and select Change Password.



Next, enter your current password, your new password and then re-enter your new password to verify. When done, click the Save button.

Changing your Password Recovery Information



After logging into the portal, click on the Manage menu selection up top and select Change Challenge Question and Response.



Use the pull-down menu to select a new challenge phrase, enter your response and then enter your curent password for security reasons. When done, click the Save button.
